"Elevated Peripheries: Aerial Impressions" is a photographic journey that unveils the hidden North East Italy's peripheral landscapes. Through the use of elevated perspectives, we embark on a visual exploration of these lesser-known regions, where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary. In this project, we soar above the boundaries of conventional photography, utilizing drones to capture aerial views. From the bustling outskirts of urban neighborhoods to the quiet enclaves of residential areas, we shed light on the oft-overlooked corners of the North East. This perspective reveals narratives waiting to be discovered, offering a unique glimpse into the soul of these peripheral places. The project draws inspiration from the timeless cinematic masterpiece "Wings of Desire," where angels observe the world from above. Similarly, we navigate the skies to showcase the beauty that lies beneath our feet. Embracing the spirit of renowned photographers Mario Giacomelli and Massimo Vitali, we blend elements of abstract composition and the interplay of light and shadow. The result is a visual tapestry that merges the ethereal and the familiar. Through "Elevated Peripheries: Aerial Impressions," the author wants to celebrate the intricate patterns of intersecting roads, the geometry of buildings, and the coexistence of nature and humanity. From the coastal vistas of the North East Italian shoreline to the winding streets and vibrant neighborhoods, the project studies these places from an elevated vantage point. "Elevated Peripheries: Aerial Impressions" invites you to see the world from a different perspective, allowing you to appreciate the remarkable hidden within the ordinary. Discover the space of North East Italy's peripheries as they come alive through the lens of aerial impressions.
